About the gym + coach

I’m Warren, owner of Iron + Love.

I created this space as an alternative to the big commercial gyms that many avoid. Here, we prioritise structure, guidance and a supportive atmosphere.

I’ve coached everyone from the elderly and frail to national level athletes. What they share isn’t age or capability, it’s the decision to take their wellbeing seriously.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve helped hundreds of people train safely, build lasting strength, and actually enjoy it.

I’ve earned my provincial colours as a weightlifter on the Western Province team as a lifter and coach. Now in my 40s, I compete in equipped powerlifting.

While I’ve taken competitive lifters to the podium, most of my clients are ordinary people seeking strength, health and longevity.
